Hidemasa Morita
Hidemasa Morita is a Japanese midfielder born in Osaka on 10 May 1995. He developed through Takatsuki Shimizu FC and Kanemitsu Osaka High School before taking the university route at Ryutsu Keizai University. After graduating, Morita joined Kawasaki Frontale in 2018 and quickly established himself in the first team, helping the club win the J1 League title in his debut season. In 2020, he was named in the J-League Best Eleven as Kawasaki also claimed the Emperor’s Cup. Morita moved to Portugal with Santa Clara in January 2021, adapting to the Primeira Liga. He joined Sporting CP in July 2022, where his central and defensive midfield work supports build-up and defensive transitions. Morita made his Japan debut in 2018 and represented the country at the 2022 World Cup.
