Horaţiu Alexandru Moldovan

Horaţiu Alexandru Moldovan is a Romanian goalkeeper born on 20 January 1998 in Cluj-Napoca. He developed at CFR Cluj and gained senior experience through loan spells with Hermannstadt, Voința Turnu Măgurele and Energeticianul before joining UTA Arad. At UTA, Moldovan made his first appearances in Romania’s top flight, then moved to Rapid București in 2021 and established himself as a regular starter. His performances for Rapid brought international recognition, including involvement with Romania during the qualifying campaign for Euro 2024. In January 2024, Moldovan joined Atlético Madrid, later seeking regular playing time through loans to Sassuolo and Oviedo. He is currently registered with Eyüpspor, while his profile is built on quick reflexes, penalty saving and confident distribution from the area.
