Mohamed Belhadj Mahmoud

Mohamed Belhadj Mahmoud is a Tunisian midfielder from Sousse, born on 24 April 2000. He developed at Étoile Sportive du Sahel, joining the club’s academy as a child and progressing through its youth system. Mahmoud made his senior debut for Étoile in 2019, gaining experience in Tunisia’s top division before establishing himself in central midfield. In August 2021, he moved to FC Lugano in Switzerland, beginning a new stage of his career abroad. At Lugano, he was used as a defensive, box-to-box or deep-lying midfielder, contributing to ball recovery and distributing long passes.
