Hugo Hadrien Dominique Lloris

Hugo Hadrien Dominique Lloris is a French goalkeeper from Nice, born on 26 December 1986. He began playing at CEDAC Cimiez and entered the OGC Nice academy at age 10, later making his professional debut for the club in 2005. By 2006–07, Lloris had become Nice’s first-choice goalkeeper. He joined Olympique Lyonnais in 2008, won the UNFP Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year award three times, and reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2010. In 2012, he transferred to Tottenham Hotspur, became captain in 2015, and helped the club reach the 2019 Champions League final. As France’s captain, Lloris lifted the 2018 FIFA World Cup and later led the team to the 2022 final before retiring from international football in January 2023. He joined Los Angeles FC in 2024, bringing extensive experience to the MLS and helping the club win the U.S. Open Cup in his first season.
