Henry Lawrence

Henry Lawrence is an English defender, born in London on 21 September 2001. He joined Chelsea’s academy at Under-9 level and developed at Cobham, helping the club’s Under-23 side win the unbeaten Premier League 2 title in 2019/20. He also featured in Chelsea’s FA Youth Cup campaigns and trained with the senior squad by late 2020. In July 2021, Lawrence joined AFC Wimbledon on loan, making 32 appearances while covering several defensive positions. He moved to Milton Keynes Dons for the 2022/23 season and played 26 league matches. After leaving Chelsea when his contract expired in June 2023, Lawrence signed for Standard Liège in August that year. He initially played mainly for SL16 FC before making his first-team debut in May 2024, then became a regular in Standard’s 2024/25 campaign.
