Hervé Kouakou Koffi
Hervé Kouakou Koffi is a Burkina Faso goalkeeper born on 16 October 1996 in Bobo-Dioulasso. He developed in Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire before moving to Europe in 2017, when he joined Lille. At Lille, Koffi faced competition for the first-team place and spent time on loan at Royal Excel Mouscron in Belgium. He later made Charleroi his permanent club, where his reflexes, one-versus-one saves and proactive goalkeeping brought him wider recognition. In 2024, Koffi moved to RC Lens, adding French football to a career shaped by Belgian experience. For Burkina Faso, he has featured at the 2017 and 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, helping the team finish third in 2017. Koffi combines instinctive shot-stopping with aggressive sweeping outside the area and distribution that can support attacks from deep.
