Imourane Hassane

Imourane Hassane is a Beninese midfielder who developed through Académie Poté Joseph and Soleil FC. In December 2020, he moved to Morocco to join SCC Mohammédia, continuing his development. He returned to Benin in 2022, breaking into senior football with Loto-Popo in the Benin Premier League. In July 2023, Hassane joined Modern Future FC in Egypt on loan. After a delayed move, he joined Grasshoppers on loan in January 2025, and the Swiss club later activated its purchase option. He made his Grasshoppers debut against Young Boys before playing 90 minutes at left-back against Lausanne-Sport. Hassane has also represented Benin and Benin U20, while his midfield game combines ball-winning, positional discipline and defensive versatility.
