Hákon Arnar Haraldsson

Hákon Arnar Haraldsson is an Icelandic midfielder who developed at ÍA Akranes before moving to FC Copenhagen in 2019. He made his senior debut for Akranes in a League Cup match in February 2019, aged 15. At Copenhagen, Haraldsson progressed from the youth setup into the first team and helped the club win Danish Superliga titles in 2021/22 and 2022/23, as well as the Danish Cup. He also scored in the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League group stage. Lille signed the midfielder in July 2023, beginning his next step in European football. At Lille, Haraldsson has been used as an attacking midfielder, winger, false nine or second striker, combining movement between the lines with energetic pressing. He represents Iceland internationally, continuing a family football tradition while developing as a versatile creator in Ligue 1.
