Hans Viktor Guðmundsson
Hans Viktor Guðmundsson is an Icelandic defender who stands 1.93 metres tall. Born on 9 September 1996, he developed in Fjölnir’s youth system before moving from the club’s under-19 side to its senior team in January 2015. Guðmundsson spent the next several seasons with Fjölnir, making 197 appearances and contributing 21 goals and three assists by the time he departed. He was used mainly as a centre-back, with occasional appearances at right-back during his early years. His club consistency also brought involvement with the Iceland under-21 national team. On 1 February 2024, Guðmundsson joined KA Akureyri on a free transfer, beginning a new chapter away from Reykjavík. He remains registered with KA, where his 2025 season included four goals and three assists.
