Helgi Guðjónsson

Helgi Guðjónsson is an Icelandic forward who plays as a second striker. Born on 4 August 1999, he developed in the youth system at Fram Reykjavík and began appearing in senior football as a teenager. His early opportunities included Icelandic Cup matches and games in the second tier, where he continued his development as a forward. In February 2020, Guðjónsson moved from Fram to Víkingur Reykjavík, joining a top-flight environment and initially operating as a rotational attacker. He later established himself more firmly in Víkingur’s plans, scoring 10 goals in the 2024 Besta deild karla season. In 2025, Helgi Guðjónsson followed with eight goals and three assists, while also appearing in six UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying matches. His progression has combined central attacking duties with wider deployment, and he remains part of Víkingur Reykjavík’s squad.
