Hatim Essaoubi

Hatim Essaoubi is a Moroccan defender born on 13 December 1998. He developed in the youth system of AS FAR Rabat, where he progressed into senior football around the 2019–20 period. At AS FAR, Essaoubi established himself in the defensive unit and contributed to the club’s 2023 Botola Pro title campaign. His Moroccan club experience also included involvement in the CAF Champions League, giving him exposure beyond domestic competition. In July 2025, he moved to Belgium to join KAA Gent on a four-year contract, marking his first European transfer. A centre-back by profile, Essaoubi has also been used in deeper midfield roles during his development. He is currently listed with Volos NFC, while Morocco is the national team linked to his player record.
