Mouhamadou Habib Diarra

Mouhamadou Habib Diarra is a midfielder born in Guédiawaye, Senegal, on 3 January 2004. He moved to France as a child and joined FC Mulhouse at seven, developing there for seven years before entering Strasbourg’s academy in 2018. Diarra signed his first professional contract in August 2021, then made his Ligue 1 debut for Strasbourg two months later against Saint-Étienne. He became a regular in Alsace, scoring his first professional goal against Ajaccio during the 2022–23 season. In 2024–25, Diarra captained Strasbourg and helped the club finish seventh in Ligue 1. At international level, he represented France through under-21 level before making his senior debut for Senegal against Gabon on 22 March 2024. Diarra later joined Sunderland, continuing a career built around central-midfield versatility and forward movement.
