Hugo Boudin

Hugo Boudin is a French defender born in Mayenne on 8 June 1992. He developed in the Stade Lavallois system, where he was known as an ex-Tango before moving to Brittany. In July 2014, Boudin joined Stade Briochin, beginning the long association that has defined his senior career. He was part of the club’s progression from the amateur ranks into the Championnat National and became a regular defensive presence for the Saint-Brieuc side. Primarily a centre-back, Boudin has also operated at right-back, offering positional discipline and experience across the back line. His Stade Briochin career has included prominent Coupe de France occasions, notably the run to the round of 16 in 2025, when the club faced Ligue 1 side Nice. Boudin remains linked with Stade Briochin, where his veteran presence continues to support the team’s defensive work.
