Hicham Boudaoui
Hicham Boudaoui is an Algerian midfielder born in Béchar on 23 September 1999. He joined Paradou AC in 2012 after developing with local club JS Saoura and came through Paradou’s JMG Academy. Boudaoui made his professional debut for Paradou against USM Alger on 6 January 2018, then moved to Nice in September 2019 after one season in Algeria’s top flight. At Nice, he initially operated on the right wing and was named the club’s supporters’ Young Player of the Season in 2019–20. He later developed into a versatile central midfielder, contributing ball carrying, pressing and defensive cover while also taking deeper positions. Boudaoui remains linked with Nice and has represented Algeria, including involvement in the squad that won the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. His progression from winger to deeper midfielder has made Hicham Boudaoui a flexible presence for club and country.
