Hendrik Bonmann

Hendrik Bonmann is a German goalkeeper born in Essen on 22 January 1994. He began at Fortuna Bredeney, developed at Schalke 04, and returned to Rot-Weiss Essen, progressing through the youth ranks before making his senior debut in the Regionalliga West. In 2013, Bonmann joined Borussia Dortmund, where he primarily played for the reserve side in the 3. Liga while remaining within the senior squad environment. Although he did not make a Bundesliga appearance, he was part of Dortmund’s squads for the 2016–17 DFB-Pokal triumph and German Super Cup successes. After later spells with 1860 Munich and Würzburger Kickers, he moved abroad to Wolfsberger AC in 2022. Bonmann became a regular in Austria and featured in the Europa Conference League before joining Ludogorets in May 2024, where he has continued his career in European competition.
