Hugo Barbet

Hugo Barbet is a French goalkeeper born in Challans on 22 November 2001. He began playing with FC Challans before joining Guingamp’s academy in 2016, where he continued his development through the club’s youth and reserve structures. Barbet made his senior debut for Guingamp in a 1–1 draw with Valenciennes in January 2022. That summer, he represented France at under-20 level as the team won the Maurice Revello Tournament. For the 2022–23 season, he moved to Bastia-Borgo, gaining regular experience in the Championnat National and making 29 appearances. In 2023, Barbet joined Nantes as a free agent and primarily played for Nantes II while training within a Ligue 1 club environment. He later joined Versailles, with Versailles II among his current squad references, continuing his development through senior football.
