Guilherme Alecsander Machado Guedes

Guilherme Guedes, full name Guilherme Alecsander Machado Guedes, is a Brazilian defender born in Porto Alegre on 18 May 1999. He developed at Grêmio, progressing through the club’s youth teams from under-15 to under-23 level. Guedes made his senior debut for Grêmio in 2018 and later appeared for the club in the Campeonato Gaúcho and Brazil’s Série A during 2020 and 2021. Seeking regular football, he went on loan to Ponte Preta in 2019, then to Chapecoense in 2022 and Juventude and Ypiranga-RS in 2023. Primarily a left-back, Guilherme Guedes has also been listed as a centre-back, giving him flexibility across the defensive line. In 2025, he moved abroad to Navbahor Namangan in Uzbekistan, where he made 25 appearances. He subsequently joined Dinamo Brest, continuing a career that has taken him from Grêmio’s academy through Brazilian competition to clubs in Central and Eastern Europe.
