Guilherme da Trindade Dubas

Guilherme Biro, full name Guilherme da Trindade Dubas, is a Brazilian defender born in Curitiba on 1 May 2000. He developed at Coritiba and made his senior debut in 2020. Biro featured in 33 of Coritiba’s 38 Série B matches in 2021, helping the club finish third and return to Brazil’s top flight. In January 2024, Austin signed Biro on a three-year contract, taking him to Major League Soccer. Standing 1.88 metres, he brings unusual height to a defender described as left-sided, while his role has expanded toward wing-back duties. He has contributed to defensive work and build-up play, reflecting the positional flexibility associated with his development. Biro was selected for the 2025 MLS All-Star Game roster, marking a notable step in his Austin career.
