Andoni Gorosabel Espinosa

Andoni Gorosabel Espinosa is a Spanish right-back born in Arrasate on 4 August 1996. He developed at UD Aretxabaleta before joining Real Sociedad’s Zubieta academy, and gained senior experience with SD Beasain, Berio FT and Real Unión. Gorosabel made his La Liga debut for Real Sociedad against Levante in September 2017, then became part of the first-team squad in 2018 after Álvaro Odriozola’s departure. He spent six seasons with Real Sociedad, reaching 100 appearances in March 2022 and helping the club win the 2019–20 Copa del Rey. In August 2023, he moved to Deportivo Alavés, where he established himself as a regular and helped the side finish tenth in La Liga. Athletic Club signed Gorosabel on a free transfer in June 2024 on a contract running to 2028. At Athletic, he offers disciplined defending, tackling, overlapping runs and the ability to move inside during build-up.
