Gonçalo Guedes, as a left winger, attacks space by sprinting beyond the line and cutting inside to shoot. Guedes broke through at Benfica in 2014, earning early trophies and steady Europe exposure. He seized chances and drove counters. A Copa del Rey triumph with Valencia in 2019 marked a shift to a more decisive counter-attacking attacker. He scored the winning goal for Portugal in the 2019 UEFA Nations League Final.
