Ghayas Zahid
Ghayas Zahid is a Norwegian midfielder born in Oslo on 8 September 1994. He developed at Klemetsrud before joining Vålerenga’s youth system in 2009 and making his senior debut in 2012. After a loan with Ullensaker/Kisa, Zahid established himself at Vålerenga from 2012 to 2017 as a creative midfielder. In 2017, he moved to APOEL Nicosia, where he played in the UEFA Champions League, including a start against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu. He later spent the 2019–20 season on loan at Panathinaikos before joining MKE Ankaragücü, helping the club win the TFF 1. Lig title and secure promotion. Zahid moved to FK Partizan in 2023, continuing his career as an attacking midfielder who contributes through dribbling, crossing and final-third passing. He has also represented Norway, including a call-up to the emergency national team in 2020.
