Griffin McDorman Yow

Griffin McDorman Yow is an American attacker from Clifton, Virginia. He developed with the Southwest Youth Association and Virginia Development Academy before joining D.C. United’s academy in 2016. Yow signed as D.C. United’s 12th Homegrown Player in 2019, made his professional debut that year, and scored Loudoun United’s first goal. After limited opportunities in Washington, he moved to Belgian club KVC Westerlo in July 2022. Following a quiet first season, Yow became a regular in 2023–24, contributing seven goals and four assists in 28 matches. He represented the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympics, appearing in all four matches and registering three assists as the team reached the quarterfinals. Yow subsequently returned to MLS with the New England Revolution, while also being listed with the United States U23s, bringing experience as a wide or attacking forward.
