Gregory Joel Walters

Gregory Joel Walters is a Welsh footballer developed at Haverfordwest County AFC. He came through the club’s academy before moving into senior football and later spent around six seasons with Carmarthen Town. At Carmarthen Town, Walters established himself as a regular and eventually served as club captain, while making more than 50 appearances across the 2018–20 period. In July 2024, he returned to Haverfordwest County AFC, bringing previous Cymru Premier experience back to his local club. Walters subsequently featured for Haverfordwest in UEFA Conference League qualifying, marking his involvement on the European stage. His career has therefore combined academy development, a substantial spell with Carmarthen Town, leadership responsibilities and a return to the club where his football began, while his work with Pembrokeshire mental-health initiative Get The Boys A Lift has also connected him with the wider community.
