Gašper Vodeb

Gašper Vodeb is a Slovenian defender born on June 30, 2003. He developed through NK Šmartno 1928, NK Bravo and ND Beltinci, building senior experience in Slovenia’s lower divisions. During the 2020/21 season, Vodeb made seven appearances in the Slovenian Second League and scored once. He later joined Tabor Sežana, where he became a regular contributor and completed full Slovenian Cup matches during the 2024/25 campaign. On July 1, 2025, Vodeb moved to Celje on a free transfer, linking him with a club competing at a higher level domestically and in Europe. At Celje, he has been used as a centre-back or left-back, offering left-sided balance across the defence. His positional flexibility supports his work in aerial duels and buildup, while his European involvement has included a substitute appearance in the 2–1 Conference League win over Legia Warszawa.
