Giga Tsurtsumia

Giga Tsurtsumia is a Georgian midfielder born on 14 April 1997. He began his senior career with Merani Martvili during the 2014–15 season in Georgia’s top flight. Tsurtsumia then played for Kolkheti Khobi in 2015–16, later returning to the club for the 2022–23 campaign. He also represented FC Zugdidi in 2020–21 before moving to FC Spaeri, where he has continued in Georgia’s Erovnuli Liga 2. Standing 1.89 metres tall, Tsurtsumia is described as a defensive-minded player who can also cover at centre-back. His game is built around physical presence, protection in front of the defence and dependable structure rather than high-risk attacking play. He has also represented Georgia at under-21 level, adding international youth experience to a career developed largely within the domestic game.
