Gergő Szécsi

Gergő Szécsi is a Hungarian goalkeeper born in Eger on 7 February 1989. He developed at Tarnamérai SE and Hevesi SE, remaining in those local youth systems until 2004. Szécsi later played for Debreceni VSC and was part of the squad that won the Magyar Kupa in 2012/13. His career also included Balmazújvárosi FC, which he joined in November 2017, before moving to Ferencváros in June 2019. At Ferencváros, he was part of teams that won NB I titles in 2019/20, 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24, plus the Magyar Kupa in 2021/22. Primarily a reserve at the club, Szécsi has also been involved with Ferencváros II, where his experience supports developing players in the Hungarian third tier.
