Geralb Smajli

Geralb Smajli is an Albanian right-back born in Belgium on 16 May 2002. He developed in Albania with FC Djelmnia Shkodrane, KF Shkodra, Vllaznia Shkodër and KF Shkëndija Tiranë before returning to Vllaznia. Smajli made his senior breakthrough at Vllaznia, where he played from 2021 to 2024 and established himself in Albania's Kategoria Superiore. In July 2024, he moved to Kosovo and joined Ballkani, gaining exposure to European qualifying football. He is currently listed with Egnatia Rrogozhinë. Primarily a right-back, Geralb Smajli has also been described as capable of covering the left side or operating as a wing-back. His profile combines positional defending, recovery work and width in possession, giving him a role that links defensive duties with support from the flank.
