Gratas Sirgedas

Gratas Sirgedas is a left-footed central midfielder from Panevėžys, Lithuania. He developed at the National Football Academy before emerging internationally at the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Sirgedas scored three goals at that tournament, including two against Portugal, and shared the competition’s Golden Boot. That breakthrough led to his move to VfB Stuttgart II in 2013, followed by a spell with Stuttgarter Kickers during his years in Germany. After returning to Lithuania in 2017, he joined Kauno Žalgiris and then moved to Suduva Marijampole in 2019. With Suduva, he won the A Lyga, Lithuanian Cup and Super Cup in the same year. Sirgedas returned to Kauno Žalgiris in January 2020 and remains part of the club’s midfield group, where his left foot supports passing and set-piece delivery. His career arc runs from teenage attacking promise to a more central, controlling role in Lithuanian football.
