Giga Samkharadze

Giga Samkharadze is a Georgian defender who has built a long career across the country’s professional football system. He developed in Dinamo Tbilisi’s youth setup and represented Georgia at under-17 and under-19 level, making seven youth appearances. Samkharadze’s senior breakthrough came with Dila Gori, where he was part of the squad that won the Georgian championship in 2014/15. He later played for Rustavi, Gagra and Tskhinvali, gaining experience in Georgia’s top two divisions. In February 2023, he joined Spaeri, adding continuity to a side competing in Erovnuli Liga 2. At Spaeri, Samkharadze has been used primarily in defence, with the supplied record also crediting him with three goals and eight assists in the 2025 league season. His career combines youth international exposure, a domestic title and extensive experience in Georgian football.
