Gabriele Piccinini

Gabriele Piccinini is an Italian midfielder who developed through the lower tiers before reaching professional football. He spent three seasons in Serie D, including a period with Lentigione, and joined Pisa on 15 July 2021. Piccinini made his professional debut against SPAL in August 2021, beginning his progression within Pisa’s squad. To gain regular experience, he had two loan spells with Fiorenzuola in Serie C, in 2022 and 2023. Returning to Pisa, he became an important contributor during the 2024–25 Serie B campaign, making 38 appearances and recording four goals and four assists. Standing 1.84 metres tall, Piccinini has developed from a wide midfield option into a central, box-to-box midfielder with a defensive emphasis. He now represents Pisa in Serie A, continuing a gradual rise built on physical work, short passing and defensive coverage.
