Giuseppe Pezzella

Giuseppe Pezzella is an Italian midfielder born in Napoli on 29 November 1997. He developed at Monteruscello before joining Palermo’s system as a teenager, making his Serie A debut against Atalanta in December 2015. After Palermo’s relegation, Pezzella moved to Udinese in 2017 and later spent time with Genoa. He joined Parma in 2019, where he increased his involvement in attacking phases and scored his first professional goal against Cagliari in April 2021. A subsequent spell with Atalanta gave him experience in the Champions League and Europa League, before later periods at Lecce and Empoli. Pezzella has represented Italy in youth football, helping the Under-20 team win bronze at the 2017 World Cup and reaching the 2016 Under-19 European Championship final. He is now part of Cremonese’s squad, bringing experience of Italian top-flight football and work on the left side.
