Gaëtan Perrin

Gaëtan Perrin is a French midfielder known for operating in advanced areas. Born in Lyon in 1996, he joined Olympique Lyonnais’ academy in 2005, developing through youth and reserve football. Perrin made his Ligue 1 debut for Lyon in February 2016, replacing Alexandre Lacazette in a win over Caen, and scored his first professional goal against Nantes the following month. Seeking regular playing time, he moved to Orléans, where he played in Ligue 2 and National, scoring 13 goals during the 2020/21 National season. His performances led to a move to Auxerre in 2021, where he became an important attacking player. With Auxerre, Perrin helped secure the 2023/24 Ligue 2 title and promotion, and was selected for the division’s team of the year. He later joined Lille, continuing his career in France and bringing experience from several levels of the professional game.
