Gaëtan Paquiez

Gaëtan Paquiez is a French defender born in Valréas on 15 February 1994. He began in the youth ranks of Avenir Club Avignonnais before joining Nîmes Olympique’s academy in 2008. Paquiez developed through Nîmes II, making 128 reserve appearances between 2012 and 2019 before establishing himself with the senior side. Used mainly at full-back, he played 26 matches during Nîmes’ 2017–18 Ligue 2 campaign as the club secured promotion to Ligue 1. He then made 61 top-flight appearances for Nîmes across three seasons from 2018 to 2021. After leaving Nîmes, Paquiez joined Grenoble Foot 38 in July 2022, where he was also used at centre-back. He is currently listed with Pau, adding another chapter to a career spanning France’s professional divisions.
