Gavin Molloy

Gavin Molloy is an Irish midfielder who developed through youth football with Drogheda United and Bohemians before joining Shelbourne in 2021. At Shelbourne, he progressed from the under-19 side into the senior setup and became part of Damien Duff’s team. Molloy helped the club win the First Division title in 2021 and reach the FAI Cup final the following year. In 2022, he scored the winner against Waterford in the semi-final, sending Shelbourne into that final. His consistent performances earned a Young Player of the Year nomination in 2023. Molloy was also part of the Shelbourne side that won the Premier Division title before his move to Aberdeen in summer 2024. At Aberdeen, he has continued his development in Scottish football, with the positional flexibility to contribute in deeper midfield roles.
