Gianluca Mancini
Gianluca Mancini is an Italian defender born in Pontedera on 17 April 1996. He developed at Fiorentina, initially playing in midfield before moving into defence. Mancini joined Perugia on loan in 2015, then continued his senior rise with Atalanta after moving there in 2017. Atalanta gave him a prominent Serie A platform, and he scored five goals during the 2018–19 season. He moved to AS Roma in 2019, initially on loan, before the transfer became permanent. At Roma, Mancini established himself as a regular central defender and helped the club win the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League. He made his senior Italy debut in March 2019, adding international experience to his club career.
