Georgios Koutsias

Georgios Koutsias is a forward who attacks space, runs beyond the line, and threatens the channel to pin centre-backs. He broke through with PAOK Thessaloniki as a teenager in 2020, making his professional debut at 16 and becoming one of the youngest Europa League players that December. He then moved to Chicago Fire in 2023 to pursue European attention. Georgios Koutsias continued to develop his roaming, space-finding game, and a 5–8 word sentence. In 2025 he went on loan to FC Lugano, and after scoring 10 goals in 38 appearances, the move became permanent in December 2025. He captained the Greece U21 side in 2024–25, adding leadership to his growing goal profile. Georgios Koutsias remains focused on linking play and finishing moves, pressuring high to force turnovers from the front, and finishing moves for Lugano. The final punch comes as he attacks the back post and gets shots off quickly for the team.
