Giorgi Kochorashvili

Giorgi Kochorashvili is a Georgian central midfielder born in Tbilisi on 29 June 1999. He began his senior career with Saburtalo Tbilisi before moving to Girona’s youth and reserve system on loan in 2017. After Girona declined a permanent move, Kochorashvili joined Levante in 2019 and made his La Liga debut against Athletic Bilbao in July 2020. A 2022 loan to CD Castellón gave him a further spell of regular football in Spain’s third tier. He returned to Levante for the 2023–24 season and became an important midfielder for the club. For Georgia, he converted a penalty in the Euro 2024 playoff shootout against Greece and then featured at the tournament. Kochorashvili crossed for Georges Mikautadze’s goal against Turkey and helped Georgia defeat Portugal before reaching the last 16. Sporting CP signed him in July 2025, adding a new chapter to his club career.
