Grigoris Kastanos

Grigoris Kastanos is a left-footed midfielder from Nicosia, Cyprus, born in 1998. He developed in Cyprus before joining Juventus in January 2014, entering the Italian club’s academy at 16. During the 2015/16 UEFA Youth League, Kastanos scored twice in Juventus’s 2–1 win over Manchester City. He continued his progression through loan spells at Pescara and Belgian side Zulte Waregem, gaining senior and European experience. Kastanos made his Serie A debut for Juventus against SPAL in April 2019. He later returned to Pescara before establishing himself in Italy with Salernitana, initially on loan in 2021 and then permanently from 2022. At Salernitana, he operated as a central or attacking midfielder and contributed six goals and six assists across three seasons. Kastanos joined Verona in 2024, adding positional flexibility and left-footed passing to their midfield.
