Germain Mbiyavanga Kapela

Germain Mbiyavanga Kapela is a French defender, born in Paris on 24 September 2002. He developed at Stade de Reims, spending seven years in the academy from 2013 to 2020. In 2020, Kapela moved to Chambly Thelle FC and made his Ligue 2 debut on 13 February 2021 against Clermont. After leaving Chambly, he joined FC Chamalières, where he established himself in Championnat National 2 across the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons. Kapela then continued his National 2 career with Andrézieux-Bouthéon in 2024–25. He subsequently moved to Blois Football 41, adding another National 2 chapter to his career. Used primarily as a defender, Kapela has been described as capable of operating at right-back, left-back and centre-back, giving his teams flexibility across the back line.
