Gaby Jean

Gaby Jean is a French defender, born in Mâcon on 19 February 2000. He developed through the Pôle espoirs de Dijon and Football Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas 01 before spending time with Montceau, where he began his senior career in Championnat National 3 in 2019. In 2020, Jean joined Louhans-Cuiseaux and continued building experience over the following two seasons. He moved to FC Annecy on 20 July 2022, shortly after the club reached Ligue 2. Jean made his professional debut for Annecy on 30 July 2022 against Niort and became a regular defensive presence across two seasons. During the 2023–24 Ligue 2 campaign, he recorded two goals and one assist while operating mainly at centre-back. Lecce signed Jean on 26 August 2024, giving the 1.91-metre defender a route into Italian top-flight football.
