Gustav Tang Isaksen

Gustav Tang Isaksen is a Danish forward born in Hjerk on 19 April 2001. He developed at Roslev IK before joining FC Midtjylland’s academy at under-12 level. Isaksen signed his first professional contract in May 2019 and made his senior debut that August, coming on in a 2–0 victory over SønderjyskE. He was part of Midtjylland’s 2019/20 Danish Superliga-winning squad and made his UEFA Champions League debut against Ajax in November 2020. In 2022/23, he finished as the Superliga’s top scorer and scored a hat-trick against Viborg. After scoring in both Europa League legs against Lazio, he moved to the Serie A club in August 2023. Isaksen has continued his career with Lazio and represents Denmark internationally, combining wide attacking movement with direct runs and one-on-one dribbling.
