Giorgi Gocholeishvili
Giorgi Gocholeishvili is a Georgian right-back born in Kutaisi on 14 February 2001. He developed at Saburtalo Tbilisi and made his senior debut in August 2020, appearing in a Europa League qualifying defeat by Apollon Limassol. Gocholeishvili established himself in 2021 and helped Saburtalo win the Georgian Cup. In 2022, his attacking contribution from the right earned him a place in the Erovnuli Liga Best XI, after he recorded four goals and four assists. Shakhtar Donetsk signed him in January 2023, and he won the Ukrainian Premier League twice with the club. On loan with FC Copenhagen in 2024–25, he won the Danish Superliga and Danish Cup double. Gocholeishvili made his Georgia debut against Morocco in November 2022, represented the country at Euro 2024, and remains part of the national setup.
