Gianluca Gaetano

Gianluca Gaetano is an Italian midfielder born in Cimitile on 5 May 2000. He began playing at ASD Future Boys di Cimitile before joining Napoli’s academy with his brother in 2011. In 2016, Gaetano became Napoli’s youngest player to sign a professional contract, while later youth campaigns included 17 goals and 14 assists in 2017–18 and five UEFA Youth League goals in 2018–19. He made his senior debut for Napoli in January 2019 and gained regular experience during a loan spell at Cremonese from 2020 to 2022. Gaetano returned to Napoli for the 2022–23 season and was part of the squad that won the Serie A title. He subsequently joined Cagliari, initially on loan, developing from an attacking midfielder into a more central player. Gaetano is now listed with Atalanta, continuing a career shaped by technical versatility and progression through Italian football.
