Giovanni Fabbian

Giovanni Fabbian is an Italian midfielder born in Camposampiero on 14 January 2003. He developed at Padova before joining Inter’s youth system, where he helped the Primavera side win the Campionato Primavera 1 title in 2021/22. Fabbian moved to Reggina on loan in July 2022 and made his senior debut in August, scoring a professional goal against Südtirol. He finished that Serie B campaign with eight league goals in 36 appearances and was named Young Player of the Season. In August 2023, he joined Bologna, where he operated as an attacking midfielder or mezzala and used late runs and his aerial ability to threaten in the box. He was part of Bologna’s Coppa Italia-winning team in 2024/25 and made seven Champions League appearances. Fabbian moved to Fiorentina on loan in January 2026 and has represented Italy at Under-21 level since debuting in March 2023.
