Elohor Godswill Ekpolo
Elohor Godswill Ekpolo is a Nigerian centre-back born in Benin City on 14 May 1995. He moved to Spain at seven, began at CDC Torreforta and joined FC Barcelona’s academy in 2005. Ekpolo progressed through Barcelona’s youth ranks to the reserve side and helped the club win the inaugural UEFA Youth League in 2014. After leaving Barcelona in 2016, he joined Fleetwood Town following a trial, then returned to Spain for a spell with Mérida AD in 2018. Later that year, he moved to Sweden with BK Häcken, where he won the Svenska Cupen in 2019. Ekpolo continued with IFK Norrköping in 2022 before joining Apollon Limassol in 2023. He moved to AEK Larnaca in 2024, adding experience from Spain, England, Sweden and Cyprus to the club’s defence.
