Griffin Dorsey

Griffin Dorsey is an American midfielder from Evergreen, Colorado. He developed with Colorado Rush SC before attending Indiana University, where he made 44 appearances and helped the Hoosiers reach the NCAA final in 2017 and win the Big Ten double in 2018. Toronto FC selected Dorsey sixth overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft after he signed a Generation adidas contract. His early professional spell included five first-team appearances and time with Toronto FC II before Houston Dynamo signed him in July 2021. In Houston, Dorsey became a regular contributor and helped the club win the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. He later joined Orlando City SC in 2026. Known for energy and wide movement, Dorsey has carried his attacking background into defensive roles, contributing overlaps and recovery work.
