Gianluigi Donnarumma

Gianluigi Donnarumma is an Italian goalkeeper born in Castellammare di Stabia on 25 February 1999. He developed at ASD Club Napoli before joining AC Milan in 2013, where he progressed rapidly through age groups above his own. In October 2015, aged 16, Donnarumma made his Serie A debut against Sassuolo, becoming the competition’s second-youngest goalkeeper to appear. He established himself as Milan’s first-choice goalkeeper over six seasons, helping the club win the 2020–21 Serie A title before moving to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in 2021. With Italy, Donnarumma played a decisive role at UEFA Euro 2020, saving penalties from Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka in the final and becoming the tournament’s first goalkeeper named Player of the Tournament. At PSG, he won Ligue 1 titles and was part of the team that won the 2025 UEFA Champions League. In September 2025, Donnarumma joined Manchester City, continuing his career at the highest level.
