Griffin Dillon

Griffin Dillon is an American midfielder born in San Diego on April 25, 2003. He developed with La Roca FC, where he captained the youth side, before joining the Real Salt Lake Academy in Utah. By the 2021 preseason, Dillon had trained with Real Salt Lake's first team. He then played two college seasons at the University of Maryland, making 35 appearances and recording three goals and five assists in 2021 and 2022. Dillon helped Maryland win its first Big Ten regular-season championship in five years before leaving after his sophomore season. In February 2023, he signed with Real Monarchs, Real Salt Lake's MLS NEXT Pro team, and later became a regular in central midfield. During the 2025 season, he started 24 of 25 matches, producing five goals and four assists and earning back-to-back Team MVP honors. On January 9, 2026, Dillon signed a Homegrown contract with Real Salt Lake.
