Giuseppe Ciocci
Giuseppe Ciocci is an Italian goalkeeper born in Cagliari on 24 January 2002. He developed in Cagliari’s youth academy and signed his first professional contract with the club in February 2020. Ciocci moved to Olbia on loan for the 2021/22 season, gaining regular Serie C experience. After returning to Cagliari, he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in October 2022, then resumed his development through loan spells with Pescara and Pontedera. His time at Pontedera in 2023/24 helped restore consistent senior match action. Ciocci made his Serie A debut for Cagliari against Napoli on 23 May 2025, appearing as a late substitute. Standing 1.93 metres tall, he remains part of Cagliari’s goalkeeping group, with his path shaped by academy development, senior loans and recovery from injury.
