Giorgi Bunturi

Giorgi Bunturi is a Georgian defender born in 1996. He developed in the WIT Georgia Academy and later played for WIT Georgia II as he progressed through the country's football system. In January 2020, Bunturi joined FC Gagra, a move that marked an important stage in his professional career. He transferred to Spaeri in early 2024 and became a regular for the club in the Erovnuli Liga 2. Across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, he recorded more than 4,000 minutes of competitive action, underlining his sustained involvement in Spaeri's defensive unit. Bunturi also started both of Spaeri's UEFA Conference League qualifying matches in the 2025/26 cycle and completed the full 180 minutes, adding European experience to his domestic career.
